iPhone Users Will Start Seeing More Ads In App Store
As per Apple’s statement, developers are now entitled to operate ad campaigns for their app on App Store’s main Today tab and in a “You Might Also Like” section, which is set at the bottom of each listing.
These new ads will be shown for users from every country but not in China. Also, as Apple has experimented with these ad collections for the past months, they are enriched for these designated placements.
As we all know, these ads will be displayed excitingly, which may cost developers extra to reduce competition. And if you see its usefulness for users, they will research more apps that they may find helpful.
Also, when Apple launched its ad system for App Store, it noted that ads wouldn’t destroy users’ experience as they are delivered to you with feedback and testing.
Besides, the company is also stretching some of the distinct formats for the homepage and search section’s ads. So that the developers’ ads can reach a better click-through ratio.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple also intends to expand its ad system to additional apps to witness ads on your iPad, Mac, and iPhone.
And he also said that earlier, Apple wanted to triple advertising remuneration to at least $10 billion per year to compete with Google and Meta.
