Meta Platforms Inc stated on Thursday that many users had trouble accessing their social network, Instagram.
“We’re working to get things back to standard conditions as quickly as possible,” Meta said.
About 7,000 users have faced similar issues with the platform, according to Downdetector.
The user statements were as high as 24,000 earlier, said Downdetector. That follows outages by collating status reports from several sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform.
Several Instagram users took to Twitter to share updates and memes about the service disturbance. Along with #instagramdown trending as a hashtag on the social media site.
