Update All your Drivers Automatically

First Download and Install Driver Booster

You can click here to download the software

Open the link and click on Download Now it will automatically start the download if it doesn’t click Restart the download.

You can find the downloaded file on the bottom left corner of the screen of Google Chrome.

If you can’t find the downloaded file simply click on the three dots (••• icon) and click on downloads. Here you find you will be able to find your file click on it to install the file.

If you are using an external downloader you have to open up that software to see where the file has downloaded.

Now open the setup file windows might give you an Open file – security warning click on Run here. Note “This file is trusted but be careful while selecting run for other files only click on run if you trust the file”

Now click on Install.

Click on InstallNow the software will give you an optional offer to install a browser.

Click on No, thanks, and click next if you don’t want to install the browser.

Now the software will be installed and it will give you an option to Scan now at the end of the setup process. If you click scan now it will automatically open the software and scan for drivers. You can also open the software and click on Scan to scan for drivers.

After the scanning is complete the software will show you the outdated drivers in your device.

You can select the driver you want to manually by clicking the update option in front of the driver or you can click Update now to update all of them at once.

Updating your Drivers using Windows

If you do not trust any software to update your drivers you can try and manually downloading them through windows by following these steps

Click on Start Menu or the Search button at the bottom right corner of your screen.

In the Device manager select the hardware you want to update drivers for and double click on it to open. You can also right-click and click on properties to open

Now click on the driver tab and click Update drivers. You can see the driver version and date in this tab also. If you are already using the latest driver you don’t need to update it.

Windows will automatically search for the driver here and if it’s outdated you can install the latest version using this method. If it can’t find any it will give you the option to search the driver on Windows update. So, this method is less effective as it may lead you towards the windows database of drivers

Although, sometimes you will have to install a driver through windows update because windows might have the latest and only driver available for that hardware. You can always update drivers using the windows check for updates option also.
