Google Play Games For PC Is Now Available In Open Beta

As Google has already announced in January, it is heading to Google Play Games’ PC version so that competent PC users can also play Android games.

And now, Google has announced that they are extending the open beta of Google Play Games to more countries, including the U.S. and 7 more, as they pursue this beta’s global expansion. Let’s delve into the details below.

Google Play Games For PC’s Open Beta Expands

Google started its open beta testing earlier, but due to the initial period, they made it available only in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Australia.

And according to today’s report, Google is making the Google Play Games beta available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Similarly, it also has some conditions to run on a PC, and some of the lowest requirements are:

  • At least Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU
  • Windows 10
  • 4 CPU physical cores
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 10GB storage space

Google Play Games beta’s game list now has 85 games, including 1945 Air Force, Cookie Run: Kingdom, and Blade Idle, for all supported countries, but Google is slowly adding more new games.

Also, a game progress sync option will sync the game progress that you have accomplished on mobile so that you can play games instantly from where you left off rather than starting from a new start.

You can download Google Play Games on your PC or Laptop instantly from the official site, but preserve the above requirements in mind. There is currently no news on when it will officially release for all regions.

The company has already announced its goal, which is to gather feedback from players and developers from different countries so that we might see it expand to more countries in the following months.
