YouTube App Is About To Get Most Required Feature

YouTube Team has announced that the channel pages in YouTube App are about to bring a fresh redesign. Making it much more comfortable to discover all shorts, long-form videos, and live videos from the creators.

The platform is getting many other modifications, such as the floating developed buttons and an immersive dark theme. Which the company reported earlier this month and is now another fantastic feature.

Let’s continue the discussion below.

YouTube Will Now Allow You to See The Channel’s Different Types of Content In Different Tabs

The YouTube Team has revealed via tweet and Google’s Support page that they are developing a new design for the YouTube channels page, including some new valuable tabs.

  • Videos Tab – There will be a traditional videos tab for the channel’s mainstream long videos; the difference is that you will no longer be able to see Shorts and live videos.
  • Shorts Tab – After all, a new tab only includes Shorts videos, so you can effortlessly find creators’ all shorts in one place.
  • Livestream Tab – Livestream was always found between the videos, and that was challenging to witness the difference between both, but now you don’t have to filter them out as they brought a new special tab.

These different tabs will be more beneficial than you think, as they will preserve a lot of time locating a specific type of content from the creator.

YouTube Shorts were launched in 2020. Till then, millions of users requested a separate tab for them. And even YouTube has also noted its demand on the notification page.

Availability

YouTube has rolled it out today, but it will take at least a week to get everyone. Also, the app on iOS and Android will acquire it, and then it will be rolled out for the desktop version.
