To play your favorite music videos in the background, you just need to leverage this VLC trick to get the job done. Follow the steps mentioned below.
First of all, if you do not already have a VLCmedia player, go to the Google Play Store and download the application.

After installing the VLC media player, open the YouTube app, and play the video that you want to play in the background. Click on the share button and choose the VLC media player.

Now the video should start streaming through the VLC player. Click on the three-dots menu and the options list is open.

Choose the “Play as audio” option from the list.
