Windows Store is the default app that comes embedded with your Windows when you first install it. Normally, there is no issue keeping this app but if for some reason you want to remove this app here is a method to remove Windows Store completely. Although, Microsoft does not recommend removing this app because reinstalling it might not be possible. However, it is possible to reinstall the Windows Store by using a script.
Please note that before proceeding further only remove the Windows Store if necessary because reinstalling the Windows store can be a hassle and can take time. If only the icon is bothering you on the taskbar you can simply remove the icon by right-clicking on the icon and click unpin from the taskbar.

How to Remove Windows Store Completely
To remove the Windows Store completely follow these simple steps.
Open the Start menu or Search button on the bottom left corner of your screen.
Type PowerShell and right-click on it and click Run as Administrator.
In the PowerShell enter the following Command to List all your apps and press enter.
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers
Windows PowerShell will list all your default apps. Now scroll down and find Microsoft Windows Store. This might take a while. Under Microsoft Windows store you will see “Package Full Name” Select the package full name by highlighting it and then press CTRL+C on your keyboard to copy
Now scroll down in Windows PowerShell and Add this command and add your copied package full name by Pressing CTRL+V:
Remove-AppxPackage (Paste your Package Full name Here) and Press enter.
This method will completely remove the Microsoft Store. If you only want to disable the Windows store do not follow this method. You can use this method to remove other default apps as well but please be very careful deleting any other default app as it might affect functionality. We do not recommend deleting the Default apps.
