We all heard Apple switching to USB-C last year due to the European Union’s law. And now it is almost confirmed as Apple appears to have begun preparing for it.

According to the most delinquent report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will be switching to USB-C for most of its products by the time of the European Union, 2024.

The European Parliament has enacted a law for manufacturers that present USB-C as a standard charging port in Europe. This law implies smartphones and other devices from popular brands.

And as Gurman noted, if the new version of the Magic MouseMagic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad will reach, it will also be needed to have a USB-C port like we already witnessed in leaks about AirPods.

We expect the launching of the iPhone 15 next year, but do you know it will also have USB-C? Because many statements, even Gurman, have indicated that the “next iPhone 15 wouldn’t make sense with the Lightning port.”

But Gurman also suggests that iPhone SE in 2023 might not get this USB-C charging port. But it will be available in 2024, as it usually launches in March.

Besides, many people supported this transition, such as Tony Fadell, who designed the iPod with Steve Jobs, as he conveyed his thoughts on Twitter.
