UX director Nate Koechley states, “color was a critical theme for us during the development phase. We wanted to count vibrancy to our apps without diverting viewers’ practices.”
According to him, YouTube links counted in descriptions under the video will emerge as buttons, while it will format typically used actions like and share to be slightly distracting for viewers.
“The subscribe button also brings a touch-up; the new form and high contrast make it stand out. And while it’s no longer red, it’s more straightforward to find and way more available to everyone on both watch and channel pages.”
Pinch-to-zoom feature may be necessary for users, providing ease while watching videos on iOS and Android applications. The particular seeking feature will allow desktop and mobile users to drag or swipe up to view a row of scrollable thumbnails to capture precise moments.
