How to Secure Your WhatsApp Account Using Two-Step Verification
WhatsApp is the most convenient way to communicate with each other. Almost 1.5 billion peoples use WhatsApp over 180 countries. It is owned by Facebook. The communication service WhatsApp introduced end-to-end encryption last 4 years ago. Now it is rolling out Two Steps Verification. The main aim to introduce the Two Steps Verification is to ensure that your data stay private. Two-Step Verification is a passcode on your WhatsApp account. When you Sign in you will enter a six-digit passcode to ensure that this is your account.
If you want to enable this follow the below steps.
Open the WhatsApp messenger and Click on the 3 dots on the screen. Select the Setting to open the settings.
Then click on the Account to secure your Account. Look for the Two-Step Verification to enable this.
Click on Enable for activation of this feature.
It will ask you to enter the 6-digit passcode type the passcode and click Next, then re-enter your passcode.
In the end, it will ask you to enter your Email address. Enter your Email address and click on next. This will help you to recover your account using your email address if you lost your passcode.
Now your WhatsApp is secured and no one will be able to access activate your WhatsApps account without verification.
