After rolling out the dark mode on Instagram, Whatsapp, and even its messenger app, Facebook has now introduced the dark mode on its web version. People can now access the dark mode on FB for desktop part of an overvalued design for the Mark Zukerberg-owned social media platform. Facebook has finally launched a new dark mode for its desktop version. The new UI is supposed to be the best cluttered with much brighter icons.
When you get the update, you should see a prompt at the top of the screen asking if you want to try the new look Facebook. Dark mode for desktop has been a wishlist feature for some time now.
How to Enable Facebook Dark Mode on Desktop
First of all, make sure that your Google Chrome is up-to-date. Go to facebook.com and sign-in to your Facebook account.
After successful log-in, go to the Chrome Web Store and screech for the Dark theme Suite.
Now you will see an extension with the name of Dark Theme Suite. So click on the Add to Chrome.
Click on the Add extension to add this extension to Chrome.
Go to the Facebook page, after the extension is downloaded. You will see that your page is in the Dark mode.
