Windows10 provides us many ways to format the drives. The earlier version of the Windows 10 supports the Quick format and Full format. Quick format is that Windows formats your drives in just a few seconds. But with Full format windows check the bad sector on your drives and then format the drive. You can format the drives either from File explorer, Disk management, Power shell and Command prompt.

Format drive from File Explorer
If you want to format your drive then follow the following steps.
Open the Start menu and type This PC and press the Enter button.
Then look for the drive that you want to format. Right-click on it and press the Format option to format.
It will show you the box screech for the Start option and hit the Start button to start formatting.
When you hit the Start button the Warning dialogue box is open which tells that your all data will be deleted if you format the disk. Click on the Ok button and window start formatting drive. At last, it will show you that Format Complete press OK button to continue.
Format drive from Disk management
Open the Disk Management from Start menu by typing Create and Format Hard Disk Partitions.
Then select the Drive and right-click on it. So, click on the Format option to format it.
A new small window is opened with Format F titled. Look for the OK button and press on it.
Then press the OK button on the warring box.
