Microsoft introduced the Setting app in Windows 10. Control panel and Setting are the two main applications use in Windows 10 to change most of the settings in the Operating System. Sometimes the Setting app may fail to open or closes right after the launch. The Setting app also contains the features to reset the Setting app. If you want to reset the Windows 10 Setting app then follow the below steps.
Go to the start menu and right-click on the Setting. Click more and then click App settings.
In this section scroll down and look for the Reset option and click on it.
When you click on the reset option it will give you warning that your apps data will permanently be deleted including your sign-in details (user name and passwords etc). Then click on the Reset button to reset the setting app.
When reset operation is done, the Setting app will close automatically. Launch it again and it will be working perfectly.
