How to Enable Fingerprint Unlock for WhatsApp

WhatsApp has now started testing fingerprint-based unlock feature for it beta versions for Android that will prompt you to scan your finger before the opening of WhatsApp. This feature is now available for all WhatsApp beta users and will soon be available to all customer globally.

Enable WhatsApp TouchID

Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock. Tap on the slider to enable it.

Once enabled, you can select after how much time WhatsApp will be automatically locked. You can also select if WhatsApp should show content in notifications.

Once done, now when you will open WhatsApp you will get a prompt to Touch the fingerprint sensor.
