Drivers for Windows 10 along with many devices like monitor, printer and video card are automatically installed. The device driver has come with their version number. Before visiting the manufacturer website, you have to know the version number of installed drivers. If you want to check the version number of the current driver then you have to follow the steps below.
Open the Start menu and type Device Manager and click on it to open it. You can also open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc in the Run.
Once the Device Manager is launched, right-click on the device whose version number you would like to know and further click on the Properties.
A new window is opened with the properties of the device. Click on the Driver option to know the Driver version.
Then you see the Driver version of the device.
