If you’re working in diverse environments, you may like your screen brightness to adjust by reducing or boosting the overall brightness. However, this can generate issues, specifically if the lighting requirements aren’t suitable for you. You may need to save battery power, for instance.

Windows is clever, but it isn’t excellent—you may need to change auto-brightness off on your PC. If you’re trying to manipulate or turn off auto-brightness on Windows 11, you can do so by following these steps.

Disable or Supervise Auto-Brightness on Windows 11

To disable or supervise auto-brightness on your Windows 11 PC, all you need is to launch the Windows Settings. To do so, click the Windows Start Menu and search for Settings, or you can use Windows+i on your keyboard to launch Settings quickly.

You can also adjust the Display’s Brightness from the Quick Settings menu if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to adjust your Display’s Brightness. To open and manage Brightness on Windows 11, all you require is to click the Wi-Fi and speaker icon located on the taskbar at the right. You can also press Windows+A to launch it quickly. Once you get to the Quick Settings menu, drag the brightness slider to raise or lower the brightness of the built-in Display.
