How to Submit a Website to Google Search Engine

Google and other Search Engines like Bling has discontinued their URL submission in 2018. Now the sole way to submit your website to these search engines, you’ll need to submit your sitemap first. In this article, we’ll show you how you can easily submit your website to search engines and start getting traffic to your site.

Ways to Submit your Website to Search Engine
There are many ways that could be used to publish a website. However the following are the official ways to submit your website to the Search Engine:

  • Submit via Google Search Console
  • Give in through Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Submit your site to Yahoo Search
  • Yield your site to DuckDuckGo
  • Proffer your site to Baidu

Submit your Website using Google Search Console

To submit your website to Google, you need to sign up for the Google Search Console. Signing up is free and easy. Simply go to the Google Search Console website and click on the ‘Start now’ button.

Once you have logged in to Google Search Console, then click on “Add property” on the left side of the window.

Now enter your website and click to continue.

Once you’ve entered your website, then you need to register your domain with Google Search Engine. To register your domain, copy the highlighted text (TXT Value).

Once you’ve copied the TXT value (text) then select your service provider, paste the TXT value in TXT portion and click to verify.

Now your domain is verified and saved.

Moreover, if you don’t find your service provider in the list, copy the TXT value (text) and login to your service provider’s site. Once you logged in, move to DNS ZONE and paste the TXT value. Then click on “verify”.

After you clicked on verify, you will see an “ownership verified” message.

Your domain is now verified. Now scroll down to “Sitemaps” in the bottom on the left corner of the Window and paste your Sitemap in the address bar of Google Search Console and hit submit. Once you have submitted your sitemap then you will see a green “Success” status means that your website has been successfully submitted to Google Search Engine.
