How to Change Mouse Speed in Windows 11 & 10

Change Mouse Speed through Windows Settings

You can adjust your mouse speed via Windows Settings. To do so, all you need is to click the Windows Start Menu and type “Mouse settings” in the Search box, and open the results.

This will take you straight to the Mouse settings in the Windows Settings. Once you get there, click the Mouse pointer speed. To boost the speed of your mouse, click and drag the slider to the right. To reduce the speed of your mouse, click and drag the slider to the left.

Change Mouse Speed through the Control Panel

You can also adjust the speed of your mouse from the Control Panel. All you need is to click the Windows Start Menu, search for “Mouse Speed” in the search bar, and select the “Change the Mouse Pointer Display or Speed” option from the search results.

This will instantly take you to the “Pointer Options” tab of the Control Panel’s Mouse Properties window. Under the “Motion” section, click and drag the slider to the right to raise the mouse speed or to the left to reduce the mouse speed.

Once you’re done, click Apply and then Ok to save the changes.
