First, you’ll need to find the app’s executable file you need to open with admin privileges constantly. This could be the File in your File Explorer, or it could be the app’s shortcut on your Windows 11 desktop.

Once you’ve found the File, right-click it to reveal its context menu. Next, click “Properties,” or you can press Alt+Enter to launch it quickly.

Once you do so, the app’s Properties menu will appear. If you began the app’s Properties menu from the EXE file in File Explorer, you’d be in the General tab. If you started it from the desktop shortcut, you’d be in the shortcut tab.

Either way, click the “Compatibility” tab. Once you get to the Compatibility tab, scroll down a bit and click “Change settings for all users”.

Now, the next time you open the program, it will begin with admin rights by default.

Using this point can conserve a lot of time and energy in the long run. If you’re running many processes on your device and need to see which ones are running with admin privileges quickly, you can do that using Task Manager.
