Elon Musk Replaces Twitter CEO By Deal Completion

According to a statement from the Wall Street Journal, on Thursday, Elon Musk fired Twitter’s 4th CEO, Parag Agrawal, and Ned Segal, who was Chief Financial Officer.

As I already said, Elon Musk visited Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco on the same day of firing them. They were also in the building, so security escorted them out, according to The Verge.

The general counsel Sean Edgett and Vijaya Gadde, the policy chief of Twitter, are now also removed by Musk. Elon Musk blasted Vijaya Gadde after the inappropriate removal of the news organization’s account.

Besides, these executives have also earned a big payout even if terminated, and Parag earned a higher payout than any other executive, as Business Insider shares.

For the exact numbers, Parag got a payout of USD 38.7 Million, Ned Segal got USD 25.4 Million, Vijaya Gadde received USD 12.5 Million, and the chief customer officer, Sarah Personette, got USD 11.2 Million.

Separately, Twitter’s co-founder Biz Stone doesn’t seem so content with this agreement. He also conveyed his views via a tweet thanking all these executives for their contributions whom Musk terminated.
