    How To Open Blank Document By Default In Office Word

    Word is widely used for doc processing. Most of the users use the blank document to make their own format of the document. When you launch the Word it displays you a page which is called Start screen. Most of the users use a blank document to make the document. If you always use a blank document, you have to follow the below steps to open a blank document always when you open the Word.

    Go to Start menu and type Word clicks on it to open it.

    Word is open which contains different document formats. Click on the Blank document to open a blank document.

    Select the File option located left side of the screen.

    Click on the Option to open the Options settings.

    A new window is open that holds the many other options. Click on the General section and look for the option Show the Start screen when this application starts. Un-select this option and re-launch Word.

    Once this option is un-selected, MS Word will always open a black document for you which will save your time and will give you a good to go page for your task.
