You can check your device’s specifications by operating the built-in tools on Windows 10 and 11, like the processor type, RAM, graphics card model, storage type, network adapter model, and more. This article will walk you through finding that information on your device.

You can check your device’s specifications through Windows Settings. From Windows Settings, you can get details about the processor and RAM amount. If you’d like to check more details, like your graphics card model, use the Task Manager approach, which offers more details than the Settings app. Here’s how:

View Your PC’s Specifications With Task Manager

First, open the Task Manager on your PC to get details about multiple hardware components. You can do this by right-clicking the Windows Start and selecting “Task Manager.”

    Task Manager

Once you get to the Task Manager, navigate to the”Performance” tab. In the “Performance” tab, you will notice your device’s different hardware components on the left side. To get more details about a component, click that component. You will see detailed information about your chosen hardware item on the right side. This contains the measurable amount of your item and its model number.

    CPU usage

And that’s how you check what your PC is built up of. Very useful!

Access Your Computer’s Specifications Using Settings

First, navigate to the Windows Settings on your PC to check the essential components like the processor type and RAM amount. To do so, press Windows+i to launch Windows Settings quickly. Upon getting there, select “System.” Scroll down a bit and click “About” on the right side.

    Windows Settings

On the right side, under “Device Specifications,” you will notice your computer’s specifications.

And that’s all there is to find more details about your device.
