Instagram syncs the contact list of your phone through which Instagram helps to follow the people in your contact list, so you can join them with Instagram. On the Instagram mobile app, there is no way to delete your contact list; either it is an android phone or an iPhone. In this article, we are going to show you how you can delete all of your contacts from Instagram’s list. Here’s how to do so:
Open your Instagram and click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Now, from the drop-down menu, click on Settings.
Scroll down a bit and select “Manage Contacts” from the sidebar.
There is an option of “Delete all” by clicking on the “Delete all” option, all the contact would be deleted simultaneously.
But there is one thing to understand: if your contact sync setting is on, Instagram would again drag the contact list from your phone. To avoid this happening again and again, open the Instagram mobile app on your iPhone or Android device. Click on your profile picture and navigate to the setting menu.
Now scroll down to the Account option.
Next, scroll down a bit and select Contacts syncing.
Now toggle off “Connect Contacts.”
