Spotify New Time Capsule Lets You Visit Your Music Taste a Year From Now

Playlist in a Bottle to keep your music taste this year with a sequence of prompts.

Spotify has presented a new “Playlist in a bottle” feature that will catch your everyday music taste and allow you to visit it a year later.

According to the corporation, users will be able to catch their moments by the time January 2024 comes around.

Users will have to go to spotify.com/playlistinabottle from their mobile device. And start by choosing a time capsule, which includes a bottle, jean pocket, gumball machine, lunch box, or teddy bear.

They will then be requested to respond to a series of song-inspired prompts, like what song reminds them of their favorite individual. Or what song they want to listen live in 2023, etc.

After the series of prompts have been conducted, the time capsule is shipped off and kept for next year.

Users will be able to communicate their personalized cards to their social media channels with the hashtag #PlaylistInABottle.

The feature is going live today in 27 markets. And will be open for free and premium users across all iOS and Android devices.

Spotify has also placed a deadline for users to make their playlist bottle by January 31 or miss out on the trend.
