The CVS is a simple format. The tabular data is stored in CVS format. It is the delimited text file that uses a comma to separate values. Each line of this file is a data record. Each record consist of more fields, separated by commas. Excel reads CVS format files by default. Sometimes, when you open a CVS file in Excel, it shows you scrambled data. Which is impossible to read. Files in the CVS format can be imported into Excel. There are many ways to import the CVS file in Excel successfully. If you want to import the CVS file in Excel then follow the below steps.
Go to the Start menu and type Excel in the Screech bar. Click on it to open it.
Select the Blank workbook in the Excel window.
Click on the Data tab and again click on the From Text option.
Select the CVS file from your Pc and press the Import button.
The new window shows you a Text Import Wizard Steps, select the Delimited option and press the Next button.
In the next step select the Comma option, unselect the Tab option and press the Next button.
Next step 3 of 3, select the Text and press the Finish option.
In the next window titled Import Data click on the Finish button.
Now you can see that your CVS file is open in the Excel Spreadsheet.
