Twitter is reportedly preparing to set $20 to the users who own verification badges and or want verification badges. In relation, these paid users will also earn some additional features.

Elon Musk successfully achieved Twitter last week, and now he desires many contemporary changes in the platform as he wants. One change that rolls out is charging for account verification.

    Let’s continue the discussion below.

Verified Twitter Users Would Have To Pay Monthly Charges

According to a report from Platformer, this would be a unique tier to Twitter Blue, and the $4.99 monthly subscription will also remain on the platform.

This subscription will cost the user $20 per month. It will deliver all the features from the above plan and possibly more, but the critical point is that it also includes verification for the account.

But that doesn’t mean you can purchase verification for an account; its process will still demand all authority checking.

And the controversial matter of this subscription is that the existing verified users will yield their blue verified mark if they don’t subscribe to it in the next 90 days.

Currently, there are no clues about when this change will reach the platform, but it is anticipated to arrive on November 7, as reports say Musk has given the team an ultimatum to work on this feature.

It seems fascinating that account verification was always accessible on the platform in the past. Now, in Musk’s privilege, it is evolving to paid, and even earlier verified also have to pay for it.
