In 2018, Google introduced a customizable search widget. Which is now counting personalized features to be manually positioned on the home screen.
While endeavoring to move a current widget, users will notice a pencil icon. That indicates edit options, from which they can select between the bar logo, bar shape, bar color, and bar shading.
Users can now efficiently save and use the new widget from the home screen.
Previously customizable Google search widgets were only achievable through Google app settings. The new change, however, is open to Android 12+ version 13.40, wrote Engadget.
